2026 APTA Indiana Spring Meeting

This course will teach participants what interventions are included within each CPT code, the difference between Medicare’s “8-minute rule” and the American Medical Association (AMA) “substantial portion” methodology. Billing scenarios will be utilized to ensure PTs and PTAs bill correctly for their services to all insurers.

Neurologic Dry Needling for Complex Persistent Pain: A Comprehensive Approach from the Athlete to Geriatric

This course links the underlying pain mechanisms of primary and secondary pain conditions to the neurophysiology of dry needling for optimal clinical application. Dry needling is applied targeting specific pain mechanisms (nociceptive, nociplastic, neuropathic) for persistent neuro-musculoskeletal conditions across the lifespan, from athletes to geriatrics.
