Last week, in an effort to reduce the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), APTA suspended in-person meetings and APTA business travel by staff or members through April 15, 2020. This included the Federal Advocacy Forum in Washington, DC. APTA has not made any decisions about events occurring after April 15, 2020, including the House of Delegates and NEXT Conference & Exposition in June. We intend to continue to monitor the situation.

Are you preparing to submit your abstract for CSM 2021? Are you interested in sharing your research with your colleagues?
Here is the perfect opportunity! At the 2020 Combined Conference, posters will be displayed by therapists from both Indiana and Kentucky on research, special interest, case study, or theory reports. This opportunity is open to all PTs and PTAs with eligible presentations.

It is all systems go at this time of the year. If you have school age children, you are already getting into a routine, and if you attend or work in higher education, the start of the academic year is rolling out this week. INAPTA is also in a state of all systems go with the work leading up to the recent updates to the Indiana Physical Therapy Practice Act, plus all we have planned for the upcoming months.

The APTA Indiana Public Relations (PR) Committee is sponsoring a #ChoosePT Consumer Video Contest with the focus on promoting awareness of the profession of physical therapy to consumers in Indiana and educating them on what it means to see a Physical Therapist via Direct Access.
