Please Contribute to the APTA Indiana PAC

Historically, the APTA Indiana Political Action Committee (PAC) has been considerably underfunded. The PAC is important as it drives support for different legislative efforts, protecting our profession. One common misunderstanding is that Chapter dues can be allocated to help fund the PAC. Due to state and federal restrictions, the Chapter is limited in the amount of funds that can be used to support the PAC. APTA Indiana has been able to maintain a strong and stable financial position and due to this success, we are reducing annual dues by $10 for each category of membership in 2019. APTA Indiana encourages members to support the PAC by contributing at least the $10 saved to the PAC. A $10 contribution by each member can have a monumental impact on the PAC and our reach with legislators. With recent legislative efforts (ie, the push to update our Practice Act) any support to the PAC is greatly needed.
