I have 27 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation, outpatient and acute care settings. Since 2012, I have taught in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Ivy Tech Community College, Sellersburg, currently serving as an Assistant Professor. Primary areas of expertise include therapeutic modalities, orthopedic populations and interventions, pathophysiology, acute care, special topics in rehabilitation, neurologic populations and interventions, and cardiopulmonary care. Jim Snyder, PT, DPT
Outpatient Physical Therapist and Clinic Manager at Baptist Health Floyd

I have been a Physical Therapist since 1996, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisville. I returned to school to complete the tDPT program in 2010 at MGH in Boston, Massachusetts. I have been an active member of APTA since graduating and am a member of the Orthopaedic and Aquatic Academies, as well as a member of the Indiana Chapter. I have been employed at Floyd Memorial Hospital since 1996 – currently Baptist Health Floyd in Southern Indiana – predominately in an orthopedic outpatient setting as clinic manager. Our facility also offers Aquatic Therapy, expanding our patient population from general orthopedics to also encompass chronic pain and more complex patient populations. I believe in the power of service work to effect positive change and move our profession forward in a productive direction in the future.
