Anthem has announced it has delayed implementation of AIM. Pre-authorization for established and new patients is no longer required for all commercial plans. The new implementation date is set for August 1, 2019. Effective today, until July 31, coverage for PT/ST/OT visits will not require a pre-authorization.

Please continue to call the Insurance Commissioner at 317-232-2385 or go to https://www.in.gov/idoi/2552.htm to file a complaint regarding the challenges with the pre-authorization process last week.
