Lina obtained her BS in Physical Therapy in 1998 from the University of Rosario (Bogota, COL). After graduating, she moved to Indiana and has been working in Orthopedics since then. She completed her Master of Health Science and her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 and 2012 respectively from University of Indianapolis. She was awarded her Fellowship in Manual Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by AAOMPT in 2015. She works at St. Vincent Outpatient Orthopedic Adult in Carmel, IN. Lina is a Certified Pain Specialist and a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. Lina has lectured at state level conferences on the topics of Pain Management and Chronic Pain. She also works as an Assistant Lab Professor or invited lecturer for the University of Indianapolis, Indiana University and Evidence in Motion Institute of Health. She has collaborated with APTA’s Research Department, helping develop the PT Now database. Lina shares her passion for cultural travel, biking and skydiving with her husband and enjoys graphic arts and learning other languages in her free time.
