Moderator: Jeremy Houser, PT, DPT, PhD, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
Program Description: The commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion must start at the top. Leadership starts at the highest level of the association, with each leader expected to play a role in the development of the organization’s strategic vision, operations, and overall culture. The leader role is evolving as the world continues to change rapidly. Data shows that companies whose leadership is in the top quartile of race/ethnicity and gender diversity are 28% more likely than their peers to outperform financially (McKinsey and Company, 2019). The session explores how organizations can embed DEI as core organizational values in creating a more diverse leadership pool and inclusive culture.
