This seminar outlines the use of the hip and core to diagnose and treat common pathologies affecting the lumbar spine and lower extremities, including the hip, ankle, and knee. This approach will be used for management of lumbar instability, and most lower extremity pathologies, including dysfunctions of the hip, ankle and foot, sprains/strains, fallen arches, shin splints, plantar fasciitis, patella-femoral pain syndrome, hamstring strains, MCL, LCL, ACL injuries, pes anserine, and pre-patellar bursitis. An emphasis will be on management of knee pathology with specific focus on patella-femoral pain syndrome.
